 Greetings

You could use software restriction policies with Group Policies. You could
use path names, hashes, Certs to limits programs that you don't want to
execute. The methods to prevent application execution have precedence hence
you could better control. Say you want to disable all .exe but a certain
.exe you want to allow. So deny by path on the first one and allow by cert
on the second one.

I hope it helps. You may also want to look at WMI filters with Group
Policies as well.
