In the log that it creates, what do you want to identify the machine by: IP,
Username, Hostname?

If it can report it's findings to a single text file on a server.
Thanks for your help.

Subject: Scan to determine version of IE installed

Hello. Is anyone aware of a tool that can scan computers and determine
what version of IE is installed? I'm getting ready to deploy the
latest IE patch from Microsoft and need to find out what machines have
what version of IE installed.

Thanks,
