Re: Case studies / statistics on wireless security?

Offhand I cannot recall any specific URLs that would contain good data
about the frequency and severity of wireless attacks.  But I am sure
that you will get some good reference points from this list.  

From my limited perspective, it would seem that any data or statistic
would be flawed by the mere fact that most people don't even know if
their machine has been compromised.  Someone sniffing traffic in a cyber
cafe may net an email password or two, but that is really about it, and
John Q. User would never even know it, therefor it would not be
reported.  On a larger scale we know that many corporate security
breaches are not reported to the authorities for business reasons.  I
would tend to weigh these two factors (ignorance & business
considerations) against any data that I found.
