Is there any utility to update registry/shortcut creation in single attempt under windows environment.

There is a small freeware tool DCPC (DC Password Changer) from
http://www.danish-company.com, which allows you to change admin
passwords on a single or all PCs with a click of mouse. 

Try as it is.

When you are logged in as normal user, Shift-Right click its setup &
click RunAs. Then provide login details of an account with domain admin
rights.
