'Shutdown Reason' in Windows 2000? (was: RE: Windows Server 2003)

It seems that 'Sutdown Reason' feature is present in win2k as well. Present
but not working. 'ShutdownReasonUI' registry value is not present by default
in win2kpro. Just out of curiosity, I created it and set to 1.
'Shutdown Reason' window appeared right after i press 'ok' in shutdown
dialog window.
However,
If you cancel, this does not prevent shutting down.
If you choose shutdown reason, corresponding entry does not appear in system
event log after reboot.

Checked this on win3kpro sp4 .Don't have win2k server at hand to check it
too.

Just curios. Is there any chance to make it work?
Because it would be nice to thave this feature working on 2k server.

Any ideas?

The same registry value (see below) can turn this feature on in
Windows XP

System Key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
Reliability]
Value Name: ShutdownReasonUI
Data Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value Data: (0 = default, 1 = enabled)
