For CISSP, take a gander at www.isc2.org. It's a lot bigger in Washington DC area. Jim DANIEL SIMPSON wrote:
Where is a good place to start? How hard is it and what are the requirements of the CISSP and how valuable is it? While some may debate the usefulness/validity of various degrees and certifications, I have noticed that without them you never get past the initial screeners (HR can stop you but they cannot hire you) to show what you can do. I have a couple of degrees in non-IT stuff. I've been asked if they are technical (yup) but never queried further than that. -- James W.
