It would be helpful to know what IPs are being listened for each port-- if it's only listening on 127.0.0.1, then it's only listening for the local machine. If it's 0.0.0.0, or it's IP, then other machines on the network could connect via those ports. ----- Original Message ----- From: "DIEGO PROTTA CASATI/6175/012/Graduacao" <diego-casati () inatel br> To: <security-basics () securityfocus com> Sent: Monday, November 24, 2003 11:18 AM Subject: RPC ports on Win2k
Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows how to close the RPC ports on a Win2k
box.
Someone told me that it was possible. Anyone? Thanx, Diego Casati diego-casati () inatel br --------------------------------------------------------------------------
