Hi, if you come from Debian you'll like apt for rpm, you can download it from: ftp://apt-rpm.tuxfamily.org/apt/redhat/9/en/i386/RPMS.extra/apt-0.5.5cnc5-fr2.i386.rpm then google for some mirror (like freshrpms.net)...It's very similar to the Debian's one. I updated my RedHat 9.0 with it, and then I tried downloading all the update rpm from the RedHat site: no one needed to be installed... perfect!

However, they had the RHN (Redhat Network) option which costs money. Is there a third-party piece of software that auto-updates a Redhat box? --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Forum Systems PRESIDIO: PGP / XML GATEWAY APPLIANCE The Presidio integrates PGP data encryption and XML Web Services security to simplify the management and deployment of PGP and reduce overall PGP costs by up to 80%.
