In-Reply-To: <000201c310a8$08a50b10$3801a8c0 () seabak org> Hi Kent, 1. Here's some info on the perps against whom you wish to test your browser's shields: http://www.simplythebest.net/info/spyware.html specifically hit the section entitled: *The main spyware perpetrators* is going to be gold mine for your *development/testing* purposes as they have a listing of specific spyware ... but sorry, the only links there are how to uninstall your spyware/trojan ;) 2. also, for another seemingly thourough site visit: http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/ 3. On a personal note, I run four tiers of defense on my *home* PC .. Outpost PFW, The Proxomitron - Universal Web Filter, AVG anti-virus and Ad-Aware. Also, since I have been using Mozilla for *months* I haven't had one browser issue vs. my pre-enlightenment days. Erik
I want to test my attempts to lockdown IE 6.0 by going to websites that have various security exploits, installations of spyware, etc. Somehow my users are much better at finding these than I am! Does anyone know of a list of bad sites, or a test site with various exploits, or else give me some specific URLS that I can test against? +----------------+ Kent James, Ph.D, MCSE Computer network support in Baku, Azerbaijan kent1 () caspia com +----------------+ --------------------------------------------------------------------------- FastTrain has your solution for a great CISSP Boot Camp.
