The Hebrew University of Jerusalem maintain a very usable list of Microsoft hotfixes and service packs. http://secinfo.huji.ac.il/microsoft_patches.htm If you want the information direct "from the horses mouth", then go to the Microsoft Security site. You can pick your base OS or application level and it will tell you which fixes you need to install : http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/current.asp Also check : http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/technet/security/Default.asp Most OS vendors provide hotfixes from their websites. That's always the best place to start. I would really appreciate if anyone could give me some information or links on the total amount of patches, hotfixes etc etc released by Microsoft for Windows 2000 (preferable) or even 98/NT4.0. If anyone has similar information for a competitor O/S (RedHat, Solaris, AIX) that would also be a great help.
