Snort can be recorded into a database. TCPDUMP Etherreal Also You can run tcpdump to a file and later analysis it with a few tools. There are lots of tools for this. eEye Iris does it too. Are you looking for something specific? I want to record all the packets including its data. I prefer logging it to a database, though files are welcomed too. (thats assuming I can later insert'em to a database). Anyone can recommend a good product ? (commercial and non-commercial are both welcomed) thank you. -- avi koren avikoren () fastmail fm -- http://www.fastmail.fm - Faster than the air-speed velocity of an unladen european swallow ****************************************************************************** This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
