RE: nmap for windows

I installed this last week.  My step by step experience was:

- Download from nmapwin.org
- Install
- During install, receive message similar to:
  "error finding WinPCap - install before running - version 3.0
recommended"
- Install WinPCap v 3.0 from NMapWin\winpcap\
- Satisfaction

If there is another credible version I would be interested in
commentaries.
