You can use 2 kinds of traffic filterring built in in XP.
You can use the IP Security Policy in the "Local Securty Policy" MMC

Um... Windows XP has a firewall built-in...

I've never used it, but I think that XP's firewall only firewalls off
incoming connections, not outgoing ones.  I think that kerio is free for
home use and I've found it very easy to use.


kindly please if anyone knows of the good free XP firewall, also 
free trojan remover. Many thanks.
