I use Trend ScanMail and eManager on an Exchange Server and InoculateIT 7.0 on a Windows Server 2003 and WINXP and WIN2K workstations. InoculateIT allows me to use different scan engines on the server and workstations. Over the years I've used all the other products mentioned and InoculateIT works as well or better than all of them. It's easy to setup and the admin console is simple and to the point. I haven't had a single infection in the three years I've been using the product. But I'm sure someone will flame me saying the program sucks :=) My 2 cents. Robert -----Original Message----- From: Kenneth W. My organization has had Norton Corporate Edition running for well over a year now, protecting over 100 workstations and 7 servers. Not that you should ever become complacent about virus', but knowing I have NAVCE protecting me has really helped ease my worries in that area! It's just been humming along without any real problems. I set up the console on a dedicated server, and have all the workstations and other servers connected to it as clients. It's very user friendly, and I'm confident it does a respectable job of detecting any malware. Now, having given my personal plug to Symantec, I would be remiss if I didn't add that the better alternative is to use more than one AV solution. If you're able to do this, this will make you feel and actually be more secure, knowing that if one solution doesn't flag a potential virus, that the other likely will (particularly if their heuristics are written differently). If you're strapped for cash though and can only afford one solution, I'd say Norton's a good starting point. Good-luck, Ken Kenneth W.
