it appears to be:
O4 - Global Startup: Symantec Fax Starter Edition Port.lnk = 
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\1033\OLFSNT40.EXE

As I supposed, it is something legitimate related to Office. Thank
you.

Any suggestion about the general question (that was if there is an
on-line database [better if I can download for off-line use] that I
can consult every time I have this kind of dubts)?
