Hello,

I'm sorry to be rude, especially since Security Basics is supposed to
be about asking for help in a friendly environment, but this
is the only
case where I wouldn't help you even if I could. It is nothing
personal,
but due to the recent actions of SCO I really loathe the company and I
will do nothing to help them, or even inderectly by helping
their users.

I presume it might not be up to you to decide which OS your company is
running, but if you have any influence over the decision makers, you
might want to point out that SCO has managed to make millions of Linux
users furious and has attacked giants such as IBM.

From what I have heard, SCO Unix is not very competent, and boss Carl
McBride has a history of suing people right and left:

Even if SCO is unaffected as a company (and I think it will be
affected) they have managed to gather en enormous amount of bad will
from the tech community. I for one will be happy when the company is
dead, the sooner the better.

Sincerely,
Lars Westergren
