Video Conf - Security Concerns

Hello All,

Thanks for your replies in advance.

I am in the process of researching a video conference solution for our
company. I was looking at using Exchange 2000 conferencing server since
it would integrate nicely with our existing infrastructure. I have
concerns about the security of the system though. What I want to
accomplish is the ability of others who are outside our company to join
and interact with the conferences, an internal static conference room
that employees could join and leave whenever they need to, and the
ability for remote employees to use the VPN to connect.

My major concern is the external users access the conference room. I
believe that the VPN users will be able to use netmeeting to join the
rooms without a problem as long as I use H323 on the server. For the
external users what would be the best way to protect an external conf
room? Any suggestions would be wonderful.

Thanks Again,

Mike
