Hello, all. I would like to use VPN at linux? Do you know any recommendable program?
Yes. Free/SWAN is the best by far. I heard it was officially included in kernels 2.5.x so it will come with vanilla 2.6/3.0. We've been using it to encrypt some traffic from one office to the main datacenter. It is up, in full production environment, since about 1 year and a half ago. We've installed and it is so fine that I didn't even remembered we had it until you asked this question :) Even though they (both peers) are on common PCs, Celeron at 300 if I recall it... http://www.freeswan.org -- Jose Celestino | http://xpto.org/~japc/files/japc-pgpkey.asc ---------------------------------------------------------------- "Lately, the only thing keeping me from becoming a serial killer is my distaste for manual labor." -- Dilbert
